3R Practices In Protecting and Conserving Motherly Water

It is necessary to reduce the strain on the environment. There is a simple formula to conserve the environment: The Three ‘R’s — Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle, Households as well as commercial units can help in the process of recycling waste and effectively conserve(reduce) and reuse by recycling in a safely mode protecting health and motherly water.
Water can be considered one of India’s future emergencies. Northern India has plenty of good-quality water resources, while in the South and the other water resources are scarce and will probably contract in the next few years.
Another considerable problem is water pollution, and the high costs connected with the purification of it. As a matter of fact, now Indians can drink water without purification, but up to a few years ago expensive processes were necessary to make water potable.
Due to massive worldwide increases in human population, water has been predicted to become one of the scarcest resources in the 21st century, and despite large advances in water and wastewater treatments, waterborne diseases and problems still pose a major threat to public health worldwide.
The solution lies in innovation and eco-friendly measures in production and built environment. Also, we need to minimize (reduce) the usage of water resource to ensure for future generation. This certainly is possible without putting the brakes on the pace of commercial development by proper and effective implement of 3R practices.
Wastewater treatment facilities are being required to produce effluents and residual streams that are of increasingly higher quality. This is in terms of the concentrations of contaminants as well as the types of contaminants that should be removed by proper and scientific current applications. In addition the treatment processes and its applications are expected to be cost effective, energy efficient and have reduced green house gas emission.
Countries short of water may ultimately require sewers as a means of collecting all available wastewater for reclamation and reuse. They can be positive conservation measures, and acute shortage of water can be mitigated by this method.
Hence wastewater treatment practices with particular emphasis on the removal of microbial pathogens, solid waste segregating and role in curtailing global warming by effectively employing 3R practices in saving our motherly water and mother earth.
